Elizabeth Berg’s books are like a cup of hot chocolate under a cozy blanket. Set in the small town of Mason, Missouri, The Confession Club follows a group of middle-aged girlfriends who meet for supper every third Sunday armed with a dish to pass around and an embarrassing secret to share. It’s hard not to fall in love with Berg’s characters and the story’s salty wit and everybody-makes-mistakes attitude. The author’s fans will also enjoy reconnecting with Maddy and Iris, who appear in The Story of Arthur Truluv and Night of Miracles, respectively. Working through their shame and discomfort with a bit of laughter and a few tears, the members of the Confession Club learn a great deal about themselves and the meaning of friendship and trust. By the time we’d finished this sweet, gentle read, we had too!

Loved this book! What a brilliant, sweet story. I was hoping for that ending with all my ❤️
Great book
I loved the concept of this book. Women getting together to confess transgressions and fears in their life’s. Without judgement from the other members. To have a group of women friends to do that with would be a huge blessing. Maybe some day I’ll find those types of friends.
