Detective Thomas Banner hunted serial killer Cory Frost. How could he not? They went to the same high school, after all. They even lived down the road from each other until graduation. With so many similarities, how could two men be so different?
What the world doesn't know is that these two men were only similar geographically. Detective Banner was considered a saint. Cory Frost was an outcast. Everyone had high expectations for Banner, while Frost disappeared into obscurity.
Two men. Close, yet so far apart. Now that Detective Banner has captured Cory Frost, he's becoming more and more aware of just how sinister Cory has been. The more he learns about Cory’s horrifically brutal crimes, the suspense turns up as the information Cory is willing to give starts to hit closer and closer to home.
This is the day Detective Banner has been waiting for—the day he gets to record a serial killer’s confession. The only problem? It’s also the day Corey has been waiting for.
