The Confession

Kidd and Ace Jamieson's mother, Sandra Nicholson, was first introduced in Book I of the Jamieson legacy, Guilty by Association, Kidd's redemption story after he accepted that a name doesn't make the man, but rather it was up to the man to make a name for himself. In The Guilt Trip, Sandra had to step back and allow God to guide her misguided younger son Ace. After accepting he was about to become a father, Ace knew responsibility was no longer optional.
Sandra made a graceful entrance down the aisle in Free from Guilt as the mother of the groom when Ace and Talise Rogers tied the knot. It was a thrill Sandra had never experienced—a man waiting for her at the altar to make her his wife.
Sandra had made good and bad choices throughout the years, but the best one was to give her life to Christ when her sons were small and to rear them up in the best Christian way she knew how. That was thirty something years ago and Sandra has evolved from a young single mother of two rambunctious boys to a godly woman seasoned with wisdom. Despite the challenges and trials of rearing two strong-willed personalities, Sandra maintained her sanity through the grace of God, which kept gray strands at bay.
Now Sandra Nicholson is on the threshold of happiness, but Kidd believes no man is good enough for his mother who has never been married, but fell hard for his absentee father Samuel Jamieson. Kidd doesn't deny that his mother should find love, but not with a man who is a carbon copy of his father.
