Powerful read
There were no heroes in this story. I would never condone murder but I do know when people are treated like animals, and less than human, it has to at some point take a toll. Slavery was evil and the racism and hate that still exists towards black people today, in 2016, is a result of hundreds of years of conditioning that started in this era. So sad.
