Publisher Description
Beatrice Walker thought she was a normal high schooler living in a normal world-that is until she learned she's a living hostel for an alien energy source, whose power will prevent the universe's extinction.
Beatrice and her non-human-and annoyingly gorgeous-bodyguard Cash are part of a prophetic plan whose outcome to save their planets lies in their connection.
Author Dana Claire believes that the beauty of reading is that one can live a hundred lives within the stories of books. A shared dream of hers and her mother's, she promised her dying mother that she would become a published author and that dream has been realized with The Connection.

A Romantic SciFi you have to read!!
GUYYYS!!! THIS BOOK!!! THIS BOOK IS AWESOMESAUCE!!! Young Adult, Aliens (hot aliens), SciFi and Romance (enemies to lovers), makes for an adventurous, hot, romantic SciFi Story!!!
I was hooked from the start and ABSOLUTELY HATED putting it down, and anyone who MADE me put it down!!!
Cash: hot, alpha, protective and an @sshat (as Beatrice calls him) at first, but he definitely has a warm, gooey center and I can’t wait to learn more about that center!!
Beatrice: I really liked Beatrice. I connected with her, in that I completely felt what she felt. She was lied to, treated badly, but fought through it all in that she held her head high and refused to let it break her.
I could list all the side characters, but that’s not the kind of review I write. BUT, I will say that the characters are really well written and very complex. There’s a few side characters that I just love!!! But Cash & Bea are my favorites!! *sigh*
This book has Science Fiction, without being too sciencey (I know that’s not a word, but it works). It is more of a developing romance with the SciFi... although the SciFi is a major part of it. Kind of like The Lux Series or The Kricket Series .
I’m really looking forward to reading this whole trilogy!! I’ve already order the first book in paperback for my library!! I can’t wait for book 2!!!
