Publisher Description
The number of corals imported into the U.S. rose 249 percent between 1995 and 1996, an indication the coral reef hobby is booming. Concerned hobbyists have begun growing corals domestically so that people can enjoy reef tanks without destroying natural reefs. This book combines information on setting up and maintaining a reef, as well as ecological concerns.
Customer Reviews
Great book but semi insulting to reader
This is a must read. However, about 10% of the book insults the readers intelligence. It must be a fish tank thing because every source you go to assumes you are going to dump fish into bleach water or something. Theres a way to say these things without coming across as a cranky old man yelling at the kids on his lawn. This book failed to do that (more so than others I have read) but is still a must read.
If a new edition came out with updated info and less of a tone that doesn't sound like "hey reader I think you are too dumb to do this hobby move along" it would be a 5/5.
