Publisher Description

ABSTRACT This paper examines the relationship between teaching effectiveness and the awarding of economic and finance grades at one large regional institution. Using several statistical tests, the paper compared the average course grade that the economics and finance faculty members gave their students and the average score that the students awarded their instructor on the university's teaching effective instrument. The findings suggest that for the sample groups, there was no correlation between the class grade and the teacher's "grade."
