Publisher Description

The lead characters are a husband who writes adventure novels and his wife who decide that modern life is too boring and sedate. They plan on using Earth's teleportation network to send them to a new primitive life on Venus, but quickly learn that that going back to nature means living without modern conveniences and having to fend off dangerous and annoying animals (rather than crushing pressure, intense heat, and toxic atmospheres like the real Venus). They eventually are sent back to Earth and make a bestselling novel based on their experience.
