THE COVENANT STONE

What if the stone that felled Goliath had been prepared long before David ever reached the valley? In the Valley of Elah, two armies stand frozen by fear as a giant champion defies Israel morning and evening. But far from the battlefield, a shepherd boy is being shaped in secret—through rejection, wilderness battles, family tensions, and a growing confidence in the covenant name of the LORD.The Covenant Stone brings the world of David and Goliath to life with vivid historical detail, unforgettable characters, and powerful spiritual depth. Through the eyes of David, Eliab, Saul, Jonathan, Talmai, and others caught in the shadow of the giant, the familiar biblical account becomes an epic story of courage, identity, jealousy, calling, covenant, and faith. At the center of it all lies a smooth stone from the brook of Elah—ordinary in appearance, yet prepared for a moment that would change a nation. This is more than a story about a shepherd defeating a giant. It is a story about what happens when faith confronts fear, when God chooses what others overlook, and when one person dares to believe that the battle truly belongs to the LORD.Rich, cinematic, and deeply faith-filled, The Covenant Stone is biblical historical fiction for readers who love Scripture brought to life, powerful character-driven storytelling, and stories that leave them believing they can face the giants in their own lives.
