The Crime Beat, Episode 1: New York
Perched on the soft tar of a New York City rooftop, a mysterious sniper fires a single round from a fifty caliber rifle. Five stories below, his target collapses on the marble steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, dead.

And as Cole and Warren track the killer, they uncover a plot so ruthless it shocks the conscience, a crime so expansive it will rock the world.

The Crime Beat: New York
An engrossing story of a reporter and a cop who start as adversaries but eventually join forces in the pursuit of truth.
Read the whole series!!
So, I got the first book in the series free, knowing that this is a novella serial—nine books between 100 and 200 pages. I didn’t know if I would buy the rest of the series, but the first one was so good I immediately bought the rest. I found out they were available as boxed sets too, which made them cheaper.
My advice: buy books 2 and 3 as individuals books, then buy the boxes sets of books 4-6 and 7-9. That brings the price down to $22 for all 9 books if you get the first one free. Cheaper than the latest hardback from your favorite thriller author and just as good and about three times as long.
To me, A.C. Fuller is in the same league as all the top crime and thriller writers out there. This story could be ripped from the headlines. It’s smart, complicated, but still moves lightning fast.
Try this series; you won’t be disappointed.
Whoa! This was really good...
Had the feel of classic crime fiction but also very modern and “ripped from the headlines.” A jounalist and a cop on the trail of a massive international terrorist plot that takes them around the world. Both have stormy, difficult pasts that also come into play. Only down side is it’s a 9-novella series, but it kinda reminded me of some great TV crime dramas where you only get the whole story by watching the whole season of the show. I bought them all; worth it!
