Romance with heartbreak!
Good story with two couples, who are close to each other. The fact is that both are loved but because of past heartbreak and caused misunderstandings they almost stop the romance from progressing. The ups and downs are hopeful and seal the love. Very cute and heartfelt. Loved it!
Refreshing, Fun, and Entertaining Romance
The Cynical Sheikh by Barbara McMahon is book number one in the Ultimate Billionaires series. This is Laura Toliver and Sheikh (Tal) Taliq’s story.
Tal thinks that Laura is after his cousin just for his money. So, Tal misrepresents who he is so he can convince Laura to choose him over his cousin then he will drop her. Tal is doing this to protect his cousin. What if they really like one another? Has Tal made a mistake in his assumptions of Laura?
I loved this book! Laura and Tal’s characters were so much fun. I felt like they were my friends. This is a great start to a new series. A refreshing, fun, and entertaining romance!
