In the late 1800s Oregon, Ben and Nina Truesdell and their three children struggle to make a life. Barely tolerated by the people of Riverside because of Nina and the children’s native blood but still sought after for their disabled youngest daughter, Holly Virginia’s miraculous healing touch, their insular world is shattered with the arrival of a smooth talking conman, Ezekiel Waterford. Selling salvation in a bottle and bringing hell with him, Ezekiel sees an opportunity to exploit Holly Virginia’s miraculous gift for his own financial gain and a chance at immortality.
