1.Get over my best friend’s brother.
2.Remember that I’m over him.
3.Prove I can date other people.
It should be easy.
Setting up a dating website with the guy I’ve been in love with since I was five wasn’t my smartest idea.
Especially since he’s my best friend’s brother—thankfully, she’s okay with the fact I’m pulling a Sandy and I’m hopelessly devoted to him.
Which is why it’s time to get over him.
So I do something crazy and ask Dominic Austin to find me a date. He does—if I find him one, too.
Since we own Stupid Cupid, it should be easy, right? And it is.
My date is perfect. His date is perfect. Everything is perfect.
Until he kisses me…
And a big-ass mess…
Quick fun read!
This was a quick fun read the author. Like most of her other RomCom's you get the amazing banter, the chemistry between characts and endless amounts of sass and snark from the females.
One of my favorite catergories to read is from friends to lovers. I don't know why I love them so much, but add the twist of "enemies to lovers" and it's a whole new level of love. The chemistry between Dom and Chloe was amazing and just what I needed and it did not disappoint. They are both so hesitant to admit their feelings together and make the move to admit they want each other. After keeping it a secret from each other for years, Dom finally makes the move and oh does it get funny. The build up between these two was hilarious. Chloe flat out kills me and loved watching all of the sass/snark she'd throw Dom's way.
You get to see more fo Peyton and Mellie, who are introduced in The Upside to Being Single and The Hookup Experiment which was awesome. I can't wait to get more from the author in the future.
Hysterical and steamy
No one does hysterically funny and steamy like Emma Hart does.i love Dom and Chloe, I was ready, and I wasn’t disappointed. The two characters play off each other so well.
Dom & Chloe, At Last
The drama, the sexual tension, the...incessant bickering and sniping?! Ah, love. Nobody does it quite like author Emma Hart, and Dom's and Chloe's story is a true gem.
I mean, really, how do you set up the person that you've been in love with forever with someone else? How do you send them off to find their happily ever after with someone that isn't, well, you? I've been waiting for Dom and Chloe (well, mostly Dom, to be fair) to get their respective acts together and sort out their business since I met them in THE UPSIDE TO BEING SINGLE.
There is all the typical humor, sass, and snark that I've come to expect from Emma's characters, and seeing things from Dom's perspective is a refreshing twist, bringing some sweetness to a guy that it would otherwise be easy to write off as a forgetful dope who doesn't know a good thing when it's right in front of him. These two are made for each other, and seeing them get to their happy place is well worth the wait.
Emma's romantic comedies are always a treat, and THE DATING EXPERIMENT is another success. It's easy to recommend these books, because they are a joy to read, and never disappoint. 4.5 sassy, sweet, sexy stars. Don't miss the fun, grab this one and enjoy.
