Wow
I cannot find anything other to rate this book than five stars. Like Bill, I've been as clueless about the subject of demons as anyone who has not experienced anything like this. But reading this book finally opened my eyes to how physical these spirits are in life. Let me make sure that anyone who reads this knows beforehand it comes from a Christian standpoint. Very good book on the real threat.
A very good book through the life experiences of a Christian Pastor. I would recommend this book to any Christian so they would understand the threat of evil is real. May God protect us all through Christ Jesus.
Eye-Opening
In the past, I have jokingly referred to my life as my "little bubble of no trouble" and honestly never gave spiritual warfare much thought. When I heard Bill Scott share parts of his story on Janet Parshall's show In The Market, I was shocked by what I heard and the honest sincerity with which the story was told. I immediately downloaded the iBook and dove right in. It captivated me and horrified me, and I was terrified for Bill the entire time.
I went through a particularly rough time in my marriage a few years ago. My husband got caught up with the wrong people, and before I knew it, he was living life like he was a fraternity boy in college. I often felt like he had given Satan a foothold and Satan had all too readily lured him into a terrible sin pattern. Twice during this time, I awoke in the middle of the night to find a dark shadowy figure standing over me, and both times I screamed my head off, and when I opened my eyes again, it was gone. I don't remember ever feeling so irrationally frightened. Praise the Lord, my husband was able to break free from those strongholds, and it hasn't happened since. I've always thought it was just my imagination, but after reading this book, I'm not so sure.
