The Deacon's Service of Holy Communion

This booklet has been prepared for those for whom the use of the Book of Common Prayer is a new experience or one they are returning to after many years. In order for you to participate fully in the service, this booklet places the liturgy of Holy Communion in a convenient, easy-to-follow format. This service is used for the distribution of the Lord's Supper by a Deacon of the Church, using bread and wine previously consecrated by a Priest or Bishop.
