The Death Shadows' Chronicles: Creations

Once she was a girl called Ivonna, tutored by the leader of a covert intelligence organization specializing in infiltration and assassination.  Then after years of training, on the day of her final test to become a member of the elite Death Shadows guild, her life takes a dramatic turn.  She is kidnapped by Lameer, a vile enemy of Mydea, a kingdom on the world of Destyn.  Ivonna is transformed into a psychic vampire by Lameer’s dark magic, and her mind is exploited to fulfill his plot of vengeance against the King and Queen of Mydea.

When she is released from her captivity, her false memories compel her to plot the assassination of the King and Queen.  Her training with the Death Shadows makes the odds of being discovered a virtual impossibility.  When she succeeds, the Kingdom and the royal family demand retribution.  With no immediate suspects, the leader of The Death Shadows guild, Prince Vhaugn, calls on his brightest new agent, Ivonna, to investigate the death of his beloved parents.

Ivonna’s investigation takes her to a neighboring land of Levin, an ancient rival of Mydea.  As she works to frame the rulers of Levin for her crime, her strengthening vampiric powers of mind domination enable her to regain fragments of her true life.  She discovers that she has been manipulated in a most horrific manner.  

Determined to take control of her life and destiny, Ivonna fights to thwart Lameer’s plans to plunge the world into war, but complications mount as she discovers Lameer is not working alone. He is the agent of the Maelific, world conquering planar monsters that have their sights set on Destyn.
