Loved it!
This book is a bit tame compared to other organized crime, alpha males with their strong yet feminine women. Still the story resembles heart and hard choices in life. I enjoyed it.
Trapped in his father’s world, Max does what he can and makes the most of his criminal world. However when he sees Luna again, he has a change of heart. For 6 weeks, he hides her to help her survival while ensuring he could have a bit of freedom in his new, alternative business. On the other hand, Luna is stunned at her discovery of Max’s life. She begs and pleads for freedom. When it arrives, Luna leaves. What’s next for her when she returns home? Books 2 is next.
