The Decision

Douglas Krammer, a middle-aged plumber in his fifties facing daily struggles, ends up in the emergency room at a local hospital due to heart issues. His ex-wife seeks his house, bank account, and retirement savings, while his two brothers are lazy drunks constantly mooching off him. His younger sister is a responsible accountant, and his only child, his daughter, helps him as much as she can.
During his time in the hospital, his life is upheaved, and he faces difficulties unlike any plumber has encountered. He isn't a hero but a diligent man trying to stay afloat in an economy where most people are having problems.
He will face a series of challenges that compel him to make a decision that will determine not only his own future but that of others.
