The Delaware & Hudson Railway

The 1976 reformation of railroading in the East known as Conrail threw the traditionally profitable D&H into an expanded role that created many problems for the carrier. D&H negotiated these troubled waters as well as possible through the Guilford years and eventual ownership by Canadian Pacific.
