Basic, uninspired, misogynistic
After being a fan of RA Salvatore’s for a couple decades this read was a serious disappointment and full of strange choices. Seemingly important scenes lacked depth and purposeful description. The female characters are particularly awful and his odd, awkward focus on their sexuality whenever they are gracing the pages was cringy. I feel the guardrails of Forgotten Realms must have provided Salvatore the boundaries he needed.
