The Depot Master

The book is about a railroad depot master who is a retired sea captain. He is a bachelor having lost a chance at marriage, years ago. An old scoundrel is back to cause problems for the depot master's old love. Among the numerous and humorous tales told daily at the depot, the old captain is spinning one of his own in real life, unbeknown to others. If his plan works, all is well. If not, much is lost.
