The Depth of Beauty
The history was fascinating but Will and Mandy were bigger than life and hard to take seriously. I liked the Chinese characters and Donaldian. I’ve read much about that period of time and presented it factually. Perhaps you sugar coated the plight of the Chinese girls at the Needlepoint school but that wasn’t the point of the story. It was a very violent time. Thanks, g

History of SF, CA at the turn of the 20th century, Goldrush period, focussing on the Chinese vs White residents actions and reactions.
New to me, lived in southern CA, Orange County area and it isa very different demographic! This one is interesting to me!
