Main character is upsettingly dumb
As the title says man is Sam stupid man. For 2/3 of the book I was just so frustrated with how dumb she was being. Like after her second wish you’d think she’d understand how it all works but even in her third wish life she refuses to understand how the world has changed and works. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to like a book when you can’t stand the main character.
