The Devil’s Funeral

John thought the Devil's funeral would mark the end of a nightmare.

Instead, it becomes the beginning of a new legacy.

After inheriting the ancient power of the Devil's Gentleman, John is drawn into a hidden supernatural kingdom beneath the grave. Vampires, witches, ghosts, demons, and other creatures of darkness believe he must take the throne and continue a centuries-old tradition.

John refuses.

He has no desire to rule the supernatural world, and he certainly doesn't want to become another powerful monster trapped by an ancient curse. But when the barrier between the living and the dead begins to collapse, John discovers that refusing the inheritance could unleash catastrophe upon both worlds.

Standing beside him is Brian—the man John loves and the one person who refuses to let him face eternity alone.

But their love comes with a terrible price.

The ancient Devil reveals that the legacy was never truly about power. It was designed to test whether its chosen bearer could choose compassion over domination, love over loneliness, and freedom over obedience. When John discovers that the inheritance can be transformed, he and Brian must make an impossible choice: share the burden and bind their souls together, or watch the supernatural world collapse.

As the final funeral bells ring, John must confront the ghosts of every Devil's Gentleman who came before him—including the man whose failures shaped the curse.

To break the old order, John must destroy the crown.

To survive the inheritance, he must refuse to become its prisoner.

And to truly change the legacy, he must accept that Brian isn't his weakness.

He is his equal.
