The Devil's Wife
No one claims marriage is easy. That is especially true for Kayla Sutton, because she's married to a sadist who takes the meaning of the word "dominance" to new heights.
But Kayla should have known. She fell for his wicked ways after he blackmailed her, stayed after he kidnapped her, and went back to him after he almost destroyed them both with his fury.
Then she married him.
A year has passed since Kayla agreed to love, honor, and obey. Day after day, she survives his volatile nature—on her knees at his feet, underneath him between the sheets, and bent over the bed to receive the lash of his belt. But she's beginning to miss the one thing she promised Gage Channing when she married him.
NOTE TO READERS: THE DEVIL'S WIFE is a dark billionaire romance with a BDSM edge that does NOT conform to safe, sane, and consensual practices. Includes explicit content and subject matter that may offend some readers. Intended for mature audiences. Book 3 in the Devil's Kiss series.
Worth the time reading
This book really opens your mind to the different types of relationships and loves that exist. I found myself showing empathy for Gage even though I despise him being a sadist. Kayla & Gage's relationship is like a roller coaster ride the entire story. My only question is what happened to Ian???
I've read so many of these types of novels. Never have I come across such sad and pathetic characters. This is an amazing display of what broken and damaged people can mistake for love. It was heartbreaking. There was no redemption at the end. There was no hope for those empty souls. Sad.
