The Disappeared
Very good book! I loved reading this book -- my second in this series. The police characters are very realistic and dedicated. The last chapter was my least favorite, and I had to read it twice to understand it. I'm not sure why it was included; it seemed irrelevant. Unless the man was TR? I do not like loose ends or guessing games and would prefer to know more about Spencer and how that accusation was resolved; justice for Thea's protecting and enabling her son's bad behaviors; Thea's selective moral compass--why she condemned her boyfriend's depravity but allowed her son's bad behaviors and Jimmy's abduction. A great mystery!
