CEDU
I went to this school. The story is eerily accurate and brought back so many horrible memories. The school philosophy, raps and prophets were far worse. As a kid imprisoned at this school for 14 months before getting to go home early I can vouch for the austere measures used to control behavior. This experience is one I wish I could forget except for some of the deep friendships with other kids admonished to the wilderness to attend a school called "CEDU". A name to describe "see something in yourself and do something with it." For the author to decide to protect the innocent, people like Rudy Bentz, Jill Bentz, Tim Brace and other predators I can only gather that it is due to his short stay and mild exposure to these monsters.
24 years after CEDU as a successful wife, mother and whole person I can only look back at those adults who perpetuated this lifestyle and hope they are locked up somewhere where they have thrown away the key.
