The Disqualification Center

The Disqualification Center is a dystopian/utopian novella that unfolds in a time of accelerated climate destabilization and pandemics after the dissolution of the United States and civil war. The reader accompanies a transient undergoing immigration procedures on the border of Aia and the Inter-Entity Zone occupied by UN peacekeeping forces. Our tale begins in medias res with Transient 2-0-5-3-9-1-9-C-1-8-6 passing through a gauntlet of medical screening and security checks on his way into the foreboding citadel at the heart of the sprawling refugee camp known as Tin Town. Inside he will face three inquests. Only the incorruptible can pass into Aia's Dominion.
