From the slums of Harlem to the stage of the Apollo Theatre to the halls of an Ivy League medical school, The Ditchdigger’s Daughters tells of a black family of all girls who transcends race and gender to rekindle our belief in the American spirit.
I love this book. I have read it over 5 times. Reminds me of my father.
I am 15 years old and I love to read but I must admit in every story I read there is a short period of time when I feel like a part of the story is boring. BUT NOT THIS ONE! This was an incredible story, and not once did I feel bored. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!!!
