Welcome to the Colorado Coyotes! I am so excited to have another hockey team to love - and the inaugural story did not disappoint.
Shelby is a lawyer who works from home and is so Type A and uptight she marches upstairs to “meet” her new neighbor when the wails of a baby break up her routine. Little did she know this moment would change her life and she would fall in love - with her future baby!
Like every other Type A she throws herself into research and color coded pros and cons but seems to forget one little thing - the human factor. I mean - what could go wrong, right?
Shelby and Beau are the perfect example of opposites attract. He’s confident, cocky, laid back and his grin will melt your heart (among other things) while she’s uptight, anxious and filled with self doubt about everything but her job and her desire to become a mother. They are the perfect compliment to each other and although their road to love is definitely not straight if you hang on tight you will glad you did!
I enjoyed this book so much! Ms. Rothert has the ability to make me laugh and fall in love with Beau and his cocky smile one minute and break my heart the next as we get to know the “real” Shelby. I loved Beau’s family and hope to see them again!
I am definitely looking forward to Ford’s story and getting to know the rest of the guys!
