The Dragon's Due

Essafah, the Raja of Zarway, has finally come into his own. With the death of his beloved father, Essafah has ascended to the throne and is deeply in love with his new wife, Keyfa. But trouble wears a silk veil, and shows up to court in the form of his banished ex-wife, Khalimeendra.

Khali has taken up with the Raja’s younger brother and will do whatever it takes to exact vengeance on Essafah and claim rulership over the kingdom for herself. This includes brokering a deal with a mighty dragon living in the nearby desert. But can Khali deliver what she promises, and can a dragon really be trusted?
