Publisher Description
This book is a continuation of one of the short stories from the authors book Rustbelt Fables. It involves a reprise of the Fitzpatrick family and their disingenuous daughter April who finds, in varying degrees, love, lust, and trouble. Central to the books plot is a the robbery by a dwarf of gold coins and other treasures from a pawnshop. Then the search for the missing loot begins with the involvement of the owner, Backdoor Bill, a corrupt plainclothes detective, a private eye, an entire family of Greek entrepreneurs, and a holocaust survivor who runs a downtown kiosk and gathers information for sale. And, above them all, hovers the Rustbelt mob led by their enforcer Beans OToole.
