The Eastern Edge

Peter Elliston has spent many days wandering the convoluted coastline of Sydney, Australia, photographing people and landscape, recording both the scruffy and the sublime. He has exhibited extensively in Australia and the United States and is represented in various major collections, including the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Previous publications include Stones and Marks, a journey in photographs and text describing ancient monuments.
