ABSTRACT The gender wage gap is a topic that has not only been in the news lately, but it something that will affect each of us in the working world. Our topic is the Gender Wage Gap, or differences in pay between men and women. Many studies have found that the tenure, rank, and salaries of female employees are not equal to those of men. However, few studies have considered the perception of power held by those in leadership positions in the workforce.
