The Empty Danger

What if fear were a living creature?

Forced into isolation by a deadly virus, disillusioned Elina slips beyond waking reality into a hidden realm in the clouds. There she encounters fear itself: leathery-winged creatures whose breath instils pure dread.

As these dark beings gather strength with the spread of the pandemic, Elina joins the ancient order of the Watchers in a secret battle that reaches deep into the human soul.

The Empty Danger is the first release from The Book of Exquisite Corpse, a collection of stories inspired by the surrealist word game of the same name. A visionary fantasy of courage, empathy, and inner transformation.
