Fantastic Fantasy
I first read this series about 40 years ago and I’m glad it still holds up. A great part in the Eternal Champion series. I was happy to see it and the other titles in the series available. I had to get rid of my books a while ago so I’m looking forward to get the digitally.
Ughhh... I want my money back
The "hero" from the beginning (since the author writes in first person) is whiny, Harlequin romance arrogant, and makes the most insipid decisions imaginable. He's a man baby with incredible powers until he slips one time in battle and gets knocked out. In an age and on a planet that apparently has no common sense whatsoever, there isn't even enough brains to develop politics. This book is a crime against all authors attempting to make a real story with real people plagued with real issues.
I only got through this by laughing at how ridiculous the premise was. Comic books have better writers and Moor o k is CELEBRATED for this tripe?!?
