Fler studied all areas of the paranormal and spiritual. These inspired her to write poetry and began her lifelong interest in Astronomy and Cosmology.

Fler became the Australian President of the International Association for the Near Death Studies and a well-known lecturer.

Fler believed that God is imminent in all creation and felt his presence guiding her in her later years.
