The Experiment

A political administer lives in the realm of power. He lives in the here and now working to satisfy his need to dominate or prey upon those beneath him. He interprets or fabricates the past and the future to suit his purposes in the present. He knows how to manipulate those who look up to his leadership and how to deal with those who think for themselves.
A scientist lives in the realm of the unknown. He follows his curiosity into all things of the earth and of all life on it. He delves into the past and extrapolates into the future. Although he lives in the present, he pays little attention to it. He loses himself in his own world until he wakes up in a here and now of his own making and finds himself the subject of his own experiment.
