Moohnshine ,

I liked it.

I was given this book for an honest review. I must say that I thourghly enjoyed the actual storyline. I did have a hard time staying captivated with some of the very descriptive scenes.
This story is about Amber a divorcee with a debt from her previous husband, that can harm her lively hood. Amber moves in with her half brother Hamlin and his wife Serena. She is working hard to pay back the debt her ex holds and is afraid to love again. In walks Jake the next door sexy and handsome nieghbor. He throws a wrench in her life that messes up her no love plan. But Jake has secrets of his own and they involve her sister in law Serena. Can Amber and Jake work everything out and fall in love?
I really did love the story. The characters had a lot of depth and good backgrounds. The story did not feel rushed as some romance books do. Ann takes her time creating the story and telling it, though some of the scenes were way to descriptive for my preference. I tend to lose focus when this happens. She tells it as if you are watching a movie. Maybe that is why it has such descriptive scenes, so that you can imagine the scene as she sees it in her eyes. I recommend this book to those who seek romance and mystery. Happy reading.
