Nyla Kincade has stolen my ruthless heart.
Now that she owns it I’m not taking it back.
I’ve vowed to protect her and all that we love with everything that I have.
I will die before I break that oath.
Considering the danger we face, that might be a careless promise.
But I’ve fought this hard for vengeance, I must see it through. Because for those who heard no evil, a debt must be paid.
And I will stop at nothing to see the scales balanced.
I Am All About East
Books about posh British guys with lots of money that belong to a secret club? Erm, interesting, but maybe not my whole cup of tea. BUT...add in the kickbutt women that keep them on their toes, true and abiding friendship, and plenty of suspense for all the right reasons, and I am IN. So, no surprise that the Hear No Evil (and See No Evil before it) series by author Nana Malone is checking all of my boxes, and then some.
When I first met smart, cocky, hacker wiz East Hale in the See No Evil trilogy, well, yeah, he was okay. But he has redeemed the heck out of himself and I am a Hale lover now. He's totally come into his own, with the help of his friends, and Nyla Kincaid, love of his life, and a fabulous Interpol agent all on her own.
Nana keeps the secrets, suspense, and steam coming in this final book of the Hear No Evil trilogy, and I am totally here for it all. I have become so invested in these characters, and all of their friends and family, that seeing this book end is bittersweet. Nana has expertly wrapped up this second chapter in the Lords' quest to right wrongs and root out the rot that has infiltrated the Elite. Loose ends have been tied up, but wait, because there is more, more, more on the horizon, and it's going to be good. Next up, the Speak No Evil trilogy, featuring, ta-da, that dark horse, Bridge Edgerton, and I cannot WAIT. In the meantime, because you have to read these books in order to know what the heckity-heck is going on, dive in and get all caught up. You do not want to miss out. Happy reading...❤️
To tell the truth
Wow, what a conclusion. So much going on it was hard to keep up. But you did leave me with a few questions. Hopefully they will be answered in Bridge's books, but doubtful. Oh well.
I love this story, because this pairing never should have happened. But fate does like to shake things up and when the truth comes out, life will change. Here's hoping the gang can survive the blow of all of the truths to be revealed. And here's hoping those not directly impacted will be able to support and pick up the pieces for those directly impacted by these truths.
I loved Ben's story, but I think this one is better. Now. let's see if Ms Malone can raise the bar yet again with Bridge's story. I think his story will be blockbuster and I can't wait for it.
The Fall of East
I’m always excited and sad to finish a Nana Malone trilogy: Excited because I can’t wait to see how the cliffhanger ends and sad because I will have to wait for a new series to start. The Fall of East ends the Hear No Evil Trilogy and concludes East & Nyla’s love story/escapade. I love catching up with the London Lords and Team Winston Isles it feels like catching up with family and during this past year I have needed all kinds of familiar and happy feelings I can get. I will definitely re-read this series.
