Good
I really enjoyed the Osborne brothers in the first book. This one had suspense, mystery and romance, but it took longer to get into. I just wished it didn’t take so long for Memphis and Diah to reveal some of their secrets and find out what has driven them to where they are now, it left the readers hanging trying to figure out what the story plot was about. What’s the vague mystery that’s threatening Diah, that too awhile to get to, the campground goal was never really explained. Also, when did she get her dog, before or after her guardian dies. where did her name come from, not a common female name, who was her dad. Too many unanswered questions that would have evened the story out, there was a final suspenseful scene at then end, some questions answered, then story ended. I received this arc for an honest review.
Great HEA
I love Lori Foster’s ability to include wonderful animals. This book has a good amount of steam! I really struggled with this book though. Normally I am sucked right into the story and crave so much more when it’s over but I had to force myself to finish this one. The HEA was wonderful and their relationship was the best part of it all. But understanding who they were and what their backstory is, was a bit difficult to grasp. Still one of the best authors out there, this just wasn’t one of my favorites!
