The Fettered Past

Gail Redding was in love for the second time in her life. Her first love, as with most such experiences, had brought ecstasy at first, but was then followed by pain and disillusion. Now, despite her husband’s work being dangerous and life not being easy, she is stoic and devoted. By a somewhat surprising quirk of fate, however, the past catches up with her and her new life is threatened. Everything is at stake, from her husband’s career to the happiness they have found.
