Liked the gumshy title better

This is a dark, dark book. It is not a book of HEA but lives of people who were wronged. A small town filled with secrets, lies, murder, violence, and craziness all around. You never know who your neighbor is.
As I read this story, it’s intriguing. The storytelling of this poor town with such sadness and evil.
I don’t want to give anything away, but if you read this know that it’s not your typical alpha male romance sweeping in to save the day. This is about a town, specifically about Cassandra and her life, what she endured and who she becomes. It’s shocking.
