The fiercest joy. Feels like an author sell out.
The first few dragon novels were amazing. A new world, solid characters and a reason to stay up way too late reading. These last few however left me bored. Taking an adult romance series and changing your audience to young adults was unfair and untrue to the heart of the series. I’m sorry I wasted the money and won’t repeat the mistake. If you start mid series expecting a teen read you will get it. However, all youre getting is another Harry Potter. An orphan headed off to magic school. Been there, done that. There’s no snap between the cookie cutter characters and every single scene is predictable.
