Bert Rizzo is trying to enjoy his retirement in the Rocky Mountains, after a not-so-subtle push from the CIA. He wants nothing to do with his old agency and seeks solitude in a mountainside cabin. As one of the agency's most successful operatives over a three-decade career, being a team player never appealed to him. Crude and at times sarcastic, Rizzo cared only for the job at hand. His individualism made some very powerful enemies within the CIA and other departments, and he was glad to go when his time came. Enough was enough.
When FBI Anti-Terror agent Angelica Dougherty lands a helicopter at the end of his gravel driveway, he gets a sickly feeling in the pit of his stomach. He has information that she needs in a terrorism investigation. He'll tell her what he knows, and hope that's the end of it.
It's not.
