The 50 Year History - 1st 25 Years
I absolutely hated and loved this book for blowing my mind about the Star Trek industry that I grew up with and have loved all my life.
There is so much in-depth telling or recollecting from so, so many interviews with insight into so many aspects about the originating idea to trying to executives, cast, et al to rewriting (often, multiple times) to what we, the viewers, finally see as an end product. What a roller coaster of a read!
