New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author JB Salsbury releases the heart-pounding conclusion to The Fighting Series.
When life brings you the perfect person at the worst possible time…
On a weekend visit to Las Vegas to visit his brother, Marine Braeden Daniels meets a woman who challenges him in ways he can’t deny. The best part is she wants what he wants.
No strings. No feelings. Just fun.
AJ is a Las Vegas performer who is finally living her dream. Growing up poor, she’s determined to succeed at any cost. No one will stand in her way—not even a hot Marine who breezes into her life all confidence and a cocky smile.
A few stolen weekends and neither can deny the feelings quickly growing between them. But the obstacles that keep them apart become more devastating when the Marine Corps calls Braeden away for a six-month deployment.
It’s only six months.
What could possibly happen?
I’m so sad this series has ended! This was a very emotional story as all of the Fighting books have been. Braeden and A.J. both go through so much after their initial meeting and their journey back to each other is very rough. They started out not wanting love in their lives at the time but ended up being saved by the love they couldn’t stop or deny. My hope is that J.B. Salsbury changes her mind and writes more stories with this group of people.
The Perfect Ending!!!
This is absolutely one of my all time favorite series, and this book was superb!!! Braeden and AJ were some of my favorite characters I've read in years!!! Their story was one of adventure, sorrow, heartache, lust, connection, pain, love.
The connection was immediate and so strong from the moment they met. But they weren't in a place in their lives when they could do more than connect when they had a few spare hours. And then Braeden deploys. When he leaves he tells AJ that he doesn't expect her to wait. This is where the story really starts to get interesting. And that's all I'm going to say, because this is a story that needs to be read, not one I want to give away. The beauty of it needs to be experienced firsthand.
I am so sorry that this is supposed to be the final full-length book in this series!!!
