Beginning of the book hard to get started. I thought it picked up more of story 1/4 into book. I enjoyed characters. Will read the next books in series.
This book was just okay. I won’t continue the series. Characters and storyline were not as good as other series by the author.
Interesting premise, if not original, to this series!
I love the idea of this new series. That the Starfighters didn't quite realize just how real the battles they fought through were. That once they'd "won" the REAL battles would begin.
I really like the "girl power" of Jamie and her gamer friends--it was a nice spin. And I really like Alex too. But the whole time I spent reading, I had a feeling of deja vu. And that was due to the fact that I'd already seen the movie with the same name.
I'm hoping there's a bit more originality in the next one in the series.
