The First

Having left the harp behind, David is quickly rising up the palace ranks. His epic victory over Goliath advances him even further and as a reward, he is engaged to one of the king’s daughters. However, David still can’t bring himself to forget the words of the prophet, Samuel: one day, he shall inherit the throne. Can love and loyalty defy all odds, or will blind ambition emerge triumphant?
