Excellent, with surprises throughout.
Series Jumps the Shark
The series started out very promising, and continued well for the first couple of books. At this point it has entirely jumped the shark, with unrealistic character motivation, ridiculous plot manipulation, and no real sign of a satisfying resolution anywhere.
